What is Hypnotherapy and can it help me?
In Hypnosis, positive suggestions, visualizations and guided imagery are given to the subconscious mind. The goal is that through repetition, these new positive, optimistic thoughts and habit patterns become absorbed into the subconscious mind. As a result, you automatically begin to change the way you think and act about yourself and your future to achieve a more positive successful you!

Can Everyone be Hypnotized?
As long as an individual is willing, they can be hypnotized. Hypnosis is created by words, which can stimulate physical and emotional sensations in your body. Everyone is suggestible to some degree. For instance, have you ever seen someone yawn and found yourself yawning too? Everyone is influenced everyday by many things: our environment, beliefs, friends, feelings, even our own bodies.

Will I say or do anything under Hypnosis which is against my will?
In order for a suggestion to take place, you must be in agreement with it. If I were to suggest to you to write me a check for all the money you possess, your conscious mind, (being your reasoning mind) would immediately interfere with the suggestion and not agree with it. You will never say or do anything against your morals or beliefs.

What will I feel like under Hypnosis?
In Hypnosis your physical body and mind are deeply relaxed. Hypnosis is a very peaceful state of mind. Stress and pressures disappear and every nerve and muscle in your body is free of tension although you remain alert and completely in control. As you listen to the suggestions you begin to visualize and believe the reality of your goals. When you open your eyes, you feel peaceful, refreshed, optimistic and hopeful. You will feel determined and motivated to follow through with new positive thought paterns.

You are never unconscious nor in a sleep state. Instead you are more mentally alert and your senses are more acute. When I say the words "deep sleep", I mean a deep relaxation of the mind and body. We do not learn when we are sleeping, we learn when we are in a state of deep relaxation.

Will I remember everything after Hypnosis?
Your subconscious mind will remember everything clearly and perfectly after being hypnotized. You are always in complete control. You may find that your mind will drift and wander. That is perfectly normal. One hour of Hypnosis is equivalent to eight hours of deep restful sleep. You will feel like a new person.
